Dezember-Ausstellung: Überblick 2019

The number of applications to this year’s annual show of local artists was higher as usual: a total of 95 artists of all ages handed in their documentations, providing a considerable variety of media and content to represent the City of Winterthur. For two days, the professional jury with Rahel Müller (Artist and delegate of the Winterthur Artists Group), Oliver Kielmayer (Director Kunsthalle Winterthur) and Lynn Kost (Curator Kunst Museum Winterthur) delved into all of the applications, which also included at least one proposal for the show.
From the selection, the two curators Oliver Kielmayer und Lynn Kost have carefully composed two separate but parallel exhibitions for their respective institutions. At Kunsthalle Winterthur,  on display are works by David Berweger, fructuoso/wipf, Duri Galler, Dominik Heim, Veronika Martin Mantel, Johanna Müller, Miriam Rutherfoord/Joke Schmidt, Sagar Shiriskar, and Fabian Stamm. Showing at Kunst Museum / Beim Stadthaus are artists Georg Aerni, Habib Asal, Reto Boller, Gianin Conrad, Christoph Eisenring, Klodin Erb, Florian Fülscher, Nicola Grabiele, Sarah Hablützel/Marko Mijatovic, Katharina Henking, Marc Héron, Oliver Krähenbühl, Theres Liechti, Alexandra Meyer, Stephan Viktor Müller, Ron Temperli, Olga Titus, Valentina Triet, Bignia Wehrli, and Theres Wey.
