Dezemberausstellung: Überblick 2021

A total of 96 artists or artist groups handed in their documentations to this year’s annual show of local artists, providing again a considerable variety of media and content to represent the City of Winterthur. For two days, the professional jury with Sarah Mühlebach (Art historian and curator PTTH, Lucerne), Oliver Kielmayer (Director Kunsthalle Winterthur) and Lynn Kost (Curator Kunst Museum Winterthur) delved into all of the applications, which also included at least one proposal for the show. From the selection, the two curators Oliver Kielmayer und Lynn Kost have carefully composed two separate but parallel exhibitions for their respective institutions.
At Kunsthalle Winterthur works by the following artists are on display: Dave Bopp, Nicolle Bussien, fructuoso/wipf, Duri Galler, Rebekka Gnädinger, Dominik Heim, Stefanie Kägi, Johanna Müller, and Lika Nüssli. Kunst Museum Winterthur shows works by Georg Aerni, David Berweger, Oliver Brunko, Gianin Conrad, Michael Etzensperger/Mateo Hurtado, Gregor Frehner, Matthias Gabi, Nicola Grabiele, Sarah Hablützel/Marko Mijatovic, Katharina Henking, Marc Héron, Karin Hofer, Theres Liechti, Alexandra Meyer, Annette Pfister, Thomas Rutherfoord, Bignia Wehrli, Theres Wey, and Andrin Winteler.
